How It Works:

1. Water from the bottom of tank is pumped through the roof top solar collectors, and is heated by the sun.
2. The heated water returns to the insulated tank,and is stored for later use.
3. Supplementary heating is provided if insufficient heat is available from the sun(such as during cloudy or rainy weather or during winter months) either via electric booster or via gas booster.
